History of money

We all use money every day. It is essential because if we want to buy some food, clothes, etc. we have to pay money for these goods. Money is recognized as banknotes and coins. However, many years ago people couldnt go to the shop and buy what they wanted. They had to exchange some merchandise or services to other goods or services and this process is called barter trade. It was a really difficult procedure the barter often depends on a coincidence of wants. Giving an illustration, the seller of grain has to find a buyer who wants to buy grain and who also could offer something the seller wants to buy. And one more example, if a wheat farmer needs what a fruit farmer produces, a direct swap is impossible because seasonal fruit would spoil before the grain harvest. The solution is to trade fruit for wheat indirectly through a third, intermediate, commodity. Intermediate commodity or in other words commodity money has to be imperishable, attractive in demand, etc. For example, it can be cattle, salt, shells, wine and so on. These commodity money had disencumbered (palengvino) barter trade from difficulties. However, commodity money had their disadvantages, for example cattle, fur, precious stones couldnt be cut into smaller pieces and it was uncomfortable to keep and transport .

Because of the minuses of commodity money, people had to invent simpler way to continue the trade. And they invented specie or monetary money. It was very similar to commodity money. At first, specie was a shape of metal bars, wire, rings or powder(milteliai). This money was uncomfortable because it was necessary to weigh and to hallmark it(nustatyti praba). Soon, weight and hallmark of specie were embossed on the money. And the coin was invented then the ingot (metalo lydinys) was shaped up. The earliest known coins in the western world came from Lydia in about 650 B.C. They were made of electrum, a natural alloy of gold and silver found locally. Greek cities, The Great Persian Empire and Roman Empire quickly adopted the new useful technique of metal currency. And by the end of the 6th century, coinage were common throughout the region. However, coins as well as commodity money had many disadvantages. For instance, coins quickly show wear and they usually have small value, so its difficult to count lavish sums of coins. Because of these reasons, people invented paper money.

So lets move on to the paper money. At first, paper money was used In China in about 650 A.C. After then, paper money was used in Persia and Japan. In Europe paper money firstly was produced in the Netherlands in 16 century and in the USA in 17 century. Paper money doesnt have any value in itself. It is worthless, symbolic. In other words, paper money is just a note. It has a purchasing power because the government announces it as money and citizens accept it universally. Nowadays, we often dont see real money (banknotes and coins) because we use credit cards and money is like an abstraction. Our money is placed into electronic space and it circulates just because of our imagination, but this electronic banking lightens the trade, purchasing, etc.

Aspergers Education Strategies

Children with Aspergers need certain things in order to receive a proper Aspergers education. Their behavior is hard to understand for some parents, but once they gain a better understanding of children with Aspergers, they can begin to help their children the way that they need help. Here are a few suggestions that can help parents help their students with Aspergers.

Don't expect eye contact. Their lack of eye contact has nothing to do with disrespect, but it has everything to do with their Aspergers. Use probing questions to make sure they understand what is expected of them instead of using eye contact as an indicator in their Aspergers education.

Every child is different from others. Parents should take the time to get to know their children with Aspergers so they understand how they think and operate. Do not put them in a category with your other children or educational failures will occur.

Use visual cues when at all possible. Children with Aspergers are usually visual learners and they depend on these cues in their Aspergers education. They have difficulty processing oral language so hands-on, visual cues are a tremendous help.

Do not ask them to show their work on math problems. Children with Aspergers have the ability to come up with answers by processing the information in their heads. They may not even understand why you want them to show their work. A better solution is to ask them to explain the process to you. Do not waste time trying to get them to do something that will result in an unnecessary argument and nothing more.

Parents should allow frequent breaks. Children with Aspergers may need to take breaks as a part of their Aspergers education. Sometimes they have problems with focusing on tasks so allowing a break when they need it is a tremendous help.

Always try to minimize sensory distractions as much as possible. Ticking clocks, tapping pens, crumbling paper, and other things can be a huge distraction for children with Aspergers. It is impossible to control all sensory distractions, but when at all possible, minimize these distractions.

Use the IEP as the model for their Aspergers Education. This is their individualized plan for educational success so parents should take advantage of using the IEP.

Minimize change as much as possible. Allow some transition time before asking a child to do something that is out of their normal routine. Parents should always plan for change as far in advance as possible.

Parents can help their children receive a proper Aspergers education by using a few simple strategies to ensure the success of their children. When in doubt, refer to the IEP or speak to a special education staff member for guidance.

Education System in India for Kids

Education in India is an economic option with the department of Education deciding on free education for children till class fifth. If nothing else, its the free meals that are a major hit with the children drawing even dropouts to come back to schools. The school education system in India is hierarchical and regulated by academic boards such as the CBSE, the ICSE, the State boards and is categorized into levels such as the preprimary before class first, primary from class 1 to 5, middle (or intermediate) from classes 6 to 8, secondary (or high school) from classes 9 and 10, and senior secondary which is the 10+2.

A number of schools are run by private Trusts, or sponsored by an International Board or is run by the Christian mission. There are a few religious based schools in India like the Madarasas which are attached to mosques imparting Islamic education. As per a recent survey, only a little more than 50 percent of children from classes 6 to 9 actually attend school, despite a higher percentage on the rolls. School attendance patterns are more gender oriented especially in the rural areas but the best part is that States like Kerala have managed to achieve a 100% literacy rate.

The teachers recruited for Government schools are paid low but under a lot of pressure to fulfill other duties like participating for the census or being on duty for the elections. No doubt these teachers get paid extra and there are a lot of perks like pension, the International school teachers earn far better than their Government school counterparts and earn salaries in the 30 to 50k bracket. The social exposure in Christian mission schools and private schools is more than the Government schools but then the fees are accordingly higher. Today many Indian schools are turning into smart schools with completely digitized classrooms and audio video facilities making learning a dynamic and interactive activity.

As providing education to all has become the priority over the recent years, OSA is Indias leading portal for school admissions to schools in the city of your choice. We provide accurate information about all the schools in India on our portal that would help parents and guardians to take an informed decision while choosing a school in India.

Why you should Enroll in an Online University

Hi and thanks for taking a few minutes to read more about online schools. I truthfully think that education has got the power to transform your life for the better, and studying online helps make earning a higher degree attainable for a number of people that don't currently have the time for a normal college or university.

Article:

College is already progressively crucial for men and women that need to look for gratifying, life long professions. The many benefits of education on its own are infinite, but traditional methods of studying might not be in the position to accommodate every students personal way of living. Online universities deliver a great alternative to a conventional ground school as a result of flexibility and convenience they will provide to pre-occupied learners. If youve put off gaining a degree for just one reason or any other, consider the amazing advantages you can find at online education educational institutions, that will make education available for merely anybody.

Online Universities Are:

Convenient.

The important reason men and women choose online education is commonly convenience. Web based work could be carried out at any time and any place. As opposed to relocating to some higher education campus or commuting, pupils signed up through online universities can finish their courses from their home pc. Individuals with busy plans or full-time, 9 to 5 careers can study and work on projects at nighttime or on weekends, devoid of being concerned about making it to school punctually.

Competitively priced.

School is costly. Degrees from online universities are likely to be the same as those earned within a ground school, nevertheless they make it easy for each student to avoid some extra fees. Due to the fact work can be done in your own home, relocating to a college campus isn't a condition of learning online. And, given that distance learners don't need to comply with tight course agendas, they have more down time to work part-time or maybe full-time jobs, letting them pay out additional expenses out of pocket to avoid more substantial quantities of education loan debt.

Adaptable.

A lot of would-be scholars have a variety of lame excuses as to the reasons they arent really enrolled in classes. A majority of these would-be pupils have tasks like a full-time job or maybe a family to look after, and are generally struggling to devote their precious time to education. But online universities produce flexible options for the busy standard of living. While some internet coursework has to be accomplished depending on deadlines, this policy differs by course and also by school. Students enrolled in web based classes are often in the position to complete their coursework at that time that actually works best in keeping with their own personal itinerary.

Inventive.

During todays internet age, learning online might actually aid to far better prepare scholars for a potential future job in quite a few career fields where they will use computers and technological innovation. And scholars in almost any discipline can reap some benefits from increased experience working with portable computers and the Internet. Likewise, an online university will take advantage of a more impartial style of learning, pupils who correctly finish online education plans may perhaps be better suited to take motivation and carry out jobs alone in the work area.

G.D. Goenka Public School: Enhancing Creativity

Why is India still a developing country and not a developed country? What is stopping it from being a developed country? These are some of the common questions that we often encounter after switching on our television sets. Moreover in social networking sites, people are creating community pages to discuss these issues. The really critical aspect of Indian public education system is its low quality. The actual load of schooling that children experience and the quality of teaching that they receive are extremely insufficient in Government schools. A common feature in all government schools is the poor quality of education, with poor infrastructure and inadequate academic attention.

The basic purpose of education is to create human capital. Nothing can be more beneficial for the country than its human resource. The Government is yet to realize this need. It is true that students are getting a higher percentage of marks, irrespective of whether they studied in government schools or in private schools; but there is a huge difference between getting good marks, and being a productive and creative human being. The Government needs to emphasize on imparting education that is more practical based and that can lead the students in their field of interest.

By implementing such an education system, the Government can ensure a productive group of human resource. It is not about higher education only, but also about ensuring a sound educational foundation to the students across the country. Thus the nursery and primary level education should be child friendly. It should be modeled to sharp the innate qualities and creativity of the students so that they can use it in the later life. A student may not be good in scientific theories, but may have a knack for literary aspects.

So we should encourage them according to their field of interest. There are certain schools that are taking new measures to provide an advanced and high quality of education. G.D. Goenka Public School in Swarn Nagri, Greater Noida, is one the most reputed educational institutes in the locality. The school provides an extra ordinary learning experience to its students.

With a focus on providing interest based education, the school ensures that all modern infrastructural facilities like spacious class rooms, high-tech labs, well-stocked library, play ground, computer lab, activity room and recreation facility are made available to the students. The schools basic principle is to teach students how they can groom themselves up so that they can think out of the box. In this competitive world of ours, having formal education isnt sufficient; we need to create a group of citizens who can think, feel and act equally in a creative way.

Journeying is a popular hobby and it is hard to find someone who doesnt love to explore lands and places. If you are a travel fanatic and want to learn a foreign language, learning a language in the country where it is spoken natively can be the Holy Grail for you. But before picking a language school, you may have to rack your brains for various things on the country of your visit, the type of people there etc.. Here are some tips that will help you find a legitimate language school for you.

The main concern is the language you are going to study. First decide which language youll be studying before deciding the country youll be traveling to. You can then shortlist the countries where the language is spoken natively and then start gathering information on the respective language schools there. For example, if French is a language that amuses you, you can learn it at language schools in Switzerland, Canada, Luxemburg or France where French is a native language. Learning a language in a country where it is spoken as a first language gives you better opportunities for practicing your language skills with the native speakers and also helps you to mingle easily with them.

Be sure to check out the travel expenses, living costs at the place, fee structure for the language course etc. before embarking on a trip. These factors play a key role and if you arent prudent, you might end up in an unpleasant economic burden. If the living expenses and other financial factors in the country of your choice arent par with your budget, you should start looking for language schools in other countries. For example, if you want to learn Spanish, you can opt for Puerto Rico rather than Spain for the former is sure to be economical than the latter in almost all aspects .

There are various resources on the internet where you can learn about language schools and the courses they offer. Many language schools have their own websites where they provide details on their fee structures, class hours, course duration etc.. Some language schools may only offer preliminary courses. So, if you are looking for something more, properly check out if the school youre planning to enroll in offers advanced courses in the language youre planning to study. You can also get engaged in discussion forums on language schools. You may come across a thread that may turn over your choice of a language school and compel you to pick some other. You can also use such forums to ask questions regarding language schools wait for an answer from people who have the information.

The first priority is always the language school of course ; but also make sure that the place youll be visiting will comply to your tastes. Learn about the climate of the place, the type people, places to hang out etc.. You wouldnt like to go to a place where there is nothing much to do during off-study hours. Also learn about cheap restaurants , shopping centers etc. in and around the place where youll be staying.

Before leaving on your journey, make sure you carry all your necessities . Its is better to make a list of items beforehand and then check one by one if everything is in your backpack. You would be embarrassed to no ends if you forgot to carry your laptop or your mobile, the armors of all internet surfers. Also make sure that you have your tickets and your passport in place. Some language schools offer you a list of things to bring along conferring with which can also be handy. Read travel guides and discussion threads that can give an idea on the things to carry along. Take a couple of pictures of your family and friends to cherish old memories when you are away from them.

If you properly plan your study at a language school abroad, you can have a great time in the foreign country while you learn your favorite language.
